News from the church of Christ at Cedar Lane in Tullahoma, Tennessee
The Winchester church of Christ will be having a Ladies Day on March 10, 2007. The speaker will be Linda White from the Earst Brainerd church of Christ in Chattanooga, TN. The theme: "Love One Another." Lunch will be served. Phone 967-1441 to RSVP.
Another trip is being planned for March 21-25 to Chalmette, Louisiana to help with the Katrina relief efforts. We will be working through the Hilltop Rescue and Relief organization, which had to re-locate from the elementary school in which they were housed to a group of FEMA trailers. Construction projects will be the major areas of work on this trip. A group from Highland Hills will join us. Throughout the year each of the ministry areas will have a display about their ministry area. In February, we featured the Benevolence area; the month of March, we will feature Communication. These displays are located in the hall between the lobby and auditorium.
On Sunday February 25th at 6:00 p.m. in the Teen Wing, the children are invited to enjoy a preview of the new Veggie Tale movie "Moe and the Big Exit." Moe is a cowboy so have some fun wearing your cowboy gear to the movie, and don't forget to invite a friend.
If you volunteered to help with Children's Church, we will be having a short meeting on Sunday, February 18th immediately after classes in the Children's Church classroom in the preschool wing. If you are unable to attend, please see Mark or Melissa Rigney.
Teachers and helpers are needed for the 3 & 4-year-old Sunday and Wednesday classes. Please see Brad or Teena Anders for more information.

Come one! Come All! OUr VBS this year will be June 3rd - 7th and the time has come to start getting ready. The theme for our 2007 VBS will be "Elijah." Please come to a planning meeting on February 25th at 5:00 in room 50. Bring your ideas and your enthusiasm and help make this VBS a great event! There are many areas to serve and EVERYONE's help is needed. If you would like to be involved and can't attend the meeting or if you have questions please see Gerald and Kathy Burnett or Joel and Andrea Abrahams.
There will be 2 CPR classes offered in March. One is certified and the other is not. The certified class will be $40 per person and will last 3 hours each night. The second class is non-certified - $20 per person lasting 2 hours each night. These classes are offered to teens and adults. Sign up sheets are on the center table in the main lobby.
