Ministry Fair Display

Throughout the year each of the ministry areas will have a display about their ministry area. March is Communication. These displays are located in the hall between the lobby and auditorium.

Children's Ministry Collection for Romanian Orphans

Cedar Lane children are asked to bring packages of new socks and underwear to be sent to Romania for our missionary, Imogene McAnulty, to distribute to the orphanages she works with on the Romanian Children's Day in June. A collection box is located in the Elementary Children's Wing of the building. Socks and underwear needed for both boys and girls in all sizes. Children are encouraged to include a picture and note with their donation. The collection will end on Sunday, March 25th.

Spanish Class

As many of you know there are a large number of Hispanics in our area. The Involvement Ministry has looked at ways to reach out in an evangelistic effort to this demographic. We have concluded that offering a class in conversational Spanish would help us in this endeavor.

One of our members, Sharon Pierce, is fluent in Spanish. She has agreed to teach a class using a parallel English/Spanish Bible.

If you are interested in participating in basic class in Spanish please put your name on the sign-up sheet located in the lobby. Indicate the time that will fit your schedule and we will try to arrange a class here at the building. If there is a sufficient number of people interested, we will probably begin the class within a month.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Pat Allison.
